University of Toledo athletes had a record grade point average for the spring semester.
The school’s 365 athletes had an average GPA of 3.472, with 77 earning President’s List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
“Words can't express how proud I am of our student-athletes’ academic performance this year,” Toledo athletic director Bryan Blair said. “Our student-athletes make it clear that you don’t have to choose between your academic pursuits and your athletic dreams at the University of Toledo. As Rockets, you can be champions on the field and in the classroom.”
