An expected near-capacity crowd at the Glass Bowl on Saturday night is set to see one of the biggest bargains in college football: a University of Toledo home game.
In a world where money — especially in college athletics — is as important as air, the Rockets are the Dollar Tree while Colorado is Louis Vuitton. And what makes UT an even better value is that the ticket prices don’t reflect the quality on the field.
“We played a game in Lexington, Kentucky, last weekend, and I would put our game day and fan experience up against them or anybody else in the country,” Toledo athletic director Bryan Blair said.
