TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's track & field will split its team across two separate meets this weekend, as the Rockets continue their build-up to the MAC Championship with competition at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday, April 19 and the Jesse Owens Track Classic in Columbus, Ohio on Friday-Saturday, April 19-20.
Toledo's distance runners will compete at Wake Forest and the sprinters will head to Ohio State's Jesse Owens Track Classic.
Toledo is coming off strong performances in the Tiffin Track Carnival and the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic last weekend. At the Outdoor Classic, Laura Nicholson completed the 800m in 2:08.
