TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo senior quarterback Tucker Gleason was named the Male Scholar Athlete of the Week by the Mid-American Conference today for his performance in Toledo's 45-10 victory over Kent State on Oct. 18.
Gleason threw for a season-high 294 yards and had a career-high four touchdowns in the victory. His 48 career touchdowns are now sixth place among Toledo quarterbacks and his 5,627 passing yards are ninth place in the Toledo record books. He was also named the MAC football Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. the Golden Flashes.
In the classroom, Gleason is pursuing a second degree in computer science and engineering technology.
