TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo senior quarterback Tucker Gleason was named the Mid-American Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in a 45-10 victory over Kent State on Oct. 18, the league office announced on Monday. It is the second time this season and fifth time overall that Gleason has earned the weekly MAC honor.
Gleason completed 21-of-28 passes for 294 yards and a career-high four touchdowns to four different receivers vs. the Golden Flashes. He now has 48 career TD passes, moving past Chuck Ealey (45 from 1969-71) and Aaron Opelt (46 from 2006-09) for sixth place all-time among Toledo signal-callers.
