During the fourth quarter of the University of Toledo football team's win over BYU on Saturday, Rockets head coach Jason Candle took some time to deliver a simple message to his team.
“I just told our kids I'm really excited to watch you the rest of the season, because of the effort I've seen in the second half here,” Candle said. “There's been multiple times where you could have folded and you just kept fighting and kept standing in the middle of the ring and throwing punches...It's one thing to talk about it but when it happens in a negative way to see the response, you can't simulate those things.
