University of Toledo senior quarterback Logan Woodside and junior kicker Jameson Vest were honored by the Mid-American Conference for their performances in the Rockets' 37-10 win over Western Michigan on Nov. 24.
Woodside was named MAC West Division offensive player of the week. He completed 19-of-29 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns against the Broncos. He also became the first Rocket ever to surpass the 10,000-yard mark in passing yards at 10,083 in his career. It is the fourth time this season that Woodside has been named player of the week by the MAC.
Vest was named MAC West Division special teams co-player of the week.
