Toledo defensive end Terrance Taylor was ejected from Wednesday’s Mid-American Conference against Northern Illinois after a targeting penalty.
In the third quarter, Northern Illinois quarterback Ross Bowers slipped, fell, and popped to his knees. Taylor then made a violent helmet-to-helmet hit from behind.

Taylor was called for a personal foul and then ejected from the game.
