Box Score CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Toledo Rockets put together a seven-run eighth inning to claim a 10-2 win over Southern Illinois on Saturday, March 18 in the University of Illinois Tournament.
Toledo (4-15) jumped in front, 2-0, with a pair of runs in the third inning. Junior Brad Boss was hit by a pitch and scored on an RBI double by junior Matt Hansen. Hansen advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on a wild pitch.
Southern Illinois (9-9) answered with a run on a double and a pair of fielder's choices to score a run to make it 2-1.
