ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper, Jr., projects University of Toledo defensive back Quinyon Mitchell could wind up as the Rockets’ top all-time draft pick.
Kiper listed Mitchell, a 6-foot, 195-pound cornerback, as one of 10 winners coming out of the combine in an article he wrote for ESPN’s website.
"He looked outstanding in positional drills, showing off his elite ability to flip his hips and turn and run,” Kiper wrote. “Mitchell was also one of the top performers at the Senior Bowl, and he has crushed the pre-draft process. It's time we start thinking about him as a potential top-10 pick.
