SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. — University of Toledo senior golfer Duncan McNeill is tied for 35th place after Monday’s first round of the NCAA Louisville Regional.
The tournament is being hosted by the University of Louisville at the par-71, 7,217-yard University of Louisville Golf Club.
“The pins were tucked pretty good today, which was much like he’s seen in his last couple of events,” UT coach Jeff Roope said. “He just found himself on the wrong side with a couple of approach shots early on and it cost him a shot or two. The shaft on his wedge broke under the grip on his second hole and slowed him down for a hole or two, as well.
