The University of Toledo women's basketball team has spent most of the 2019-20 season so far on the road, but will return home for a three-game set beginning Sunday against Memphis.
The most recent game for the Rockets (1-2) was at perennial power Notre Dame on Wednesday when Toledo lost 54-51. A young Toledo team led for a majority of the game and nearly pulled off the upset.
“For 35 minutes, I thought we played really well,” Toledo coach Tricia Cullop said. “There weren't terrible things that happened in that last five [minutes]. We just had some open looks that didn't fall — two wide open 3-point looks that just didn't go down.
