Hitting from the field at a 71.4 percent clip in the first half, the University of Toledo women’s basketball team rolled to an 88-29 home exhibition victory Sunday over Ohio Dominican.
Playing in their lone exhibition before opening the season Nov. 8 at James Madison in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge, the Rockets led 51-14 at halftime after scoring 31 points in the first quarter.
"This is going to be an exciting team to watch," Toledo head coach Tricia Cullop said. "You don't get this many 'super seniors' and veterans returning very often. This is something to celebrate and enjoy, and I hope our fans come out this year and be a part of it.
