The University of Toledo women’s basketball team is down two players.
Soleil Barnes and Bella Swedlund announced they will enter the transfer portal.
Barnes, a 5-foot-6 guard, averaged 4.3 points in 12.2 minutes during the 2023-24 season. She scored in double figures four times and became a key reserve for the Rockets last season after repeated knee injuries derailed her career. As a graduate transfer, she will have one season of eligibility.
Swedlund, a 5-foot-8 point guard from South Dakota, transferred to UT during the 2022-23 season from Kansas. She suffered a season-ending knee injury prior to the 2023-24 season and never played in a game for the Rockets.
