YPSILANTI, Mich. – Toledo women's swimming and diving opened up the 2025-26 season with four first-place finishes at the Eastern Classic in Ypsilanti, Mich. on Friday evening.
The 400 medley relay team consisting of , , and began the meet by taking first with a final time of 3:46.27.
Sophomore earned a first-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:55.74. In the 200 IM, Evans touched the wall at 2:05.99 to place first while Slegers followed in third with a time of 2:06.62. Sophomore made her first appearance as a Rocket and took first in the 50 freestyle, recording a final mark of 23.
