NASSAU, Bahamas — Heading into Friday’s Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl, Florida International knows the University of Toledo offense will be a handful to deal with.
“They’re very good,” FIU defensive coordinator Brent Guy said. “They have two good running backs, very patient runners. They do a lot of pin and pull, which are harder run plays to fit. They have two very good receivers who we need to know where they are all the time.
“We’ll have our challenges. They can run, they’ll throw, they have [a run-pass option] game. They’re a team that’s hard to defend so it’ll be a challenge for us.
