TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's basketball team visits Western Michigan on Wednesday afternoon. The Rockets (10-12, 6-12 MAC) and Broncos (6-13, 5-12 MAC) will tip off from Read Fieldhouse at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
Toledo won the last meeting between these two teams, a 61-54 decision at Savage Arena back in January. Sophia Wiard hit 5-of-6 free throws and Quinesha Lockett drained a huge three-point field goal in the final two minutes to rally the Rockets to victory. Wiard knocked down a pair of charity tosses at the 1:58 mark to give Toledo a 55-54 advantage, a lead the Midnight Blue & Gold would not give up.
