DURHAM, N.C. – The Toledo women's basketball team saw its five-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday night at Duke in a 70-45 loss at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Rockets (6-3) hung tough with the Blue Devils (7-4) in the first half and forced 10 turnovers in the first two quarters. But Duke outscored UT 21-6 in the third quarter, proved to put enough distance between the two teams for the remainder of the night.
"I think we fought for three out of the four quarters tonight, and we fought really hard," head coach Tricia Cullop said.
