The University of Toledo men’s basketball team has embraced the challenge of Mid-American Conference road games this season.
The Rockets are 5-3 overall on the road in conference play with big wins at rival Bowling Green and most recently Tuesday at Ball State. The only slipups came in a blowout loss at Buffalo and blown second-half leads at Kent State and Eastern Michigan.
“We’ve been a good road team over time,” Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “Our guys have the right mindset going on the road.”
One more true road game awaits, as Toledo travels to face Central Michigan on Saturday.
