ROME, Italy – The Toledo men's basketball spent its first day in Europe on Thursday taking in the sights with a walking tour that included several historical sites in Italy's capital city.
The Rockets arrived in Rome at approximately Noon local time following an overnight flight and began experiencing the Italian cultural immediately after checking into their hotel.
"We had a long day of travel to get here and it's been well worth it," Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk said. "Our guys got their first taste of a different culture and will have memories that will last their lifetime.
