The University of Toledo football team exorcised some November demons with a strong second-half performance in a 27-17 win over Northern Illinois Thursday at the Glass Bowl.
The Rockets (8-1, 5-0 MAC) took control of the Mid-American Conference West division with its second straight win over Northern Illinois (6-3, 4-1), snapping a three-game skid against the Huskies at home and won for just the second time in the last eight matchups in the series.
UT senior quarterback Logan Woodside finished the game 23-of-31 for 361 yards and passed Bruce Gradkowski to become the all-time leading passer in school history.
