TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team will receive its final tuneup prior to opening Mid-American Conference play when it travels down I-75 on Wednesday, March 6 to face the University of Dayton (5-5). First pitch at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium is set for 3:00 p.m.
The Rockets (4-7) will begin their MAC season this weekend with a three-game series at Akron (3-7). Friday's game will begin at 2:05 p.m., while Saturday's and Sunday's contests will start at 1:05 p.m. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Rockets (4-7) have opened their 2024 campaign with three straight series on the road and will play nine more contests away from home before hosting Wright State at Scott Park in its home opener on Wednesday, March 20.
