MONTGOMERY, Ala.— Toledo and Alabama State played a doubleheader on Saturday and ASU came away with victories in both games.
The Rockets were walked off in both contests against the Hornets. Alabama State won game one on a walk-off RBI single into center field and they won game two on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth.
"Being walked off twice in one day is really hard to swallow," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "We simply need to play better. We have to find a way to make a play, get a hit, or make a crucial pitch when it matters.
