Following back-to-back poor performances in losses at Bowling Green and Ball State, the University of Toledo football team has shown toughness and grit with two hard-fought wins over Eastern Michigan and Kent State at the Glass Bowl.
Following Toledo's 35-33 win on Tuesday against the Golden Flashes, the Rockets find themselves right in the mix in the Mid-American Conference West Division.
At 3-2 in the conference, Toledo is tied with Ball State and just a half-game behind Central Michigan and Western Michigan, which are each 4-2.
Toledo would hold a tiebreaker with Western Michigan, but would need Ball State to lose another game.
