COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore Cassie Alcala and junior Sloane Teske of the University of Toledo women's tennis team completed their run at ITA Super Midwest Regionals with a 1-1 record on Friday.
Alcala and Teske started the day with a big 8-6 win over the doubles team of Kida Ferrari and Kasia Treiber from the University of Illinois. The Rockets were then paired up with the No. 1-seeded tandem of Kolie Allen and Isabelle Boulais from Ohio State, and fell to their Buckeye counterparts 8-2 in the quarterfinals
"Sloane and Cassie have made huge strides since last year," head coach Tracy Mauntler said.
