SEDONA, AZ – Toledo holds a seven-stroke lead over host Northern Arizona following the first day of competition on Saturday at the Red Rocks Invitational. The Rockets posted identical rounds of five-over par 293 to post a team score of 10-over par 586.
The Lumberjacks' Sofia Anokhina and Boise State's Genevieve Ling posted the best individuals scores for the day with impressive rounds of seven-under par 137 and six-under par 138, respectively. UT sophomore Pinyada Kuvanun stands in third place at one-under par 143 (73-70).
Toledo has two more individuals in the tournament's Top 10 with sophomore Pimchanok Kawil (73-73) and freshman Saranlak Tumfong (72-74) tied for sixth place at two-over par 146.
