TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior Kaayla McIntyre led three Rockets in double figures with 18 points, and Toledo coasted to a 78-47 win over Division II foe Lock Haven in exhibition action on Saturday in Savage Arena.
McIntyre added a team-high three steals and five rebounds to pace the 2017 Mid-American Conference Champions, who led by as many as 35 points in the fourth quarter.
Other top performers for the Midnight Blue & Gold included junior Olivia Cunningham, who scored 15 points off the bench, and sophomore Mariella Santucci had 12 points. Junior Mikaela Boyd added eight points, a team-high eight boards and three assists.
