TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo (17-23, 5-3 MAC) reached a five-game win streak with the help of a doubleheader sweep over Eastern Michigan (13-19, 2-6 MAC) on Tuesday afternoon at Scott Park. The Rockets opened the day with a 6-4 victory and closed out the twinbill with a 5-4 win in the final game.
Sophomore RHP Kailey Minarchick (7-8) picked up both wins for the Rockets after allowing four hits and one earned run in three frames in Game 1 and permitting just one hit in one inning of work in the nightcap.
Sophomore RHP Heather Webb (5 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 6 BB, 6 K) started the first game and was relieved by freshman righty Alissa Noble (1 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 1 BB) in the sixth.
