DEKALB, Ill. - The University of Toledo men's cross country team finished seventh overall with 168 points at the Mid-American Conference Championship Meet on Saturday. Two Rockets earned all-conference honors, after landing in the top 14.
Freshman Jacob Harris was the first Rocket to cross the finish line, posting a time of 25:42.3 to take sixth. Harris' finish earned him All-MAC first-team honors and he was named Freshman of the Year.
"Today was a really good step forward for our men's program," said head coach Andrea Grove-McDonough. "Having a true freshman finish in the top 10, and to be Freshman of the Year is great.
