CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's tennis team opened its non-conference road series in Cleveland Friday night with a 5-2 victory over host Cleveland State. It was the Rockets' (7-1) seventh straight victory and first win of the season on an opponents' home court.
The Vikings opened up by taking the doubles team point with very close victories on all three courts 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
The Rockets turned the match around in singles competition, however, winning on the top five courts. Sloan Teske, Julia Kuszynski and Shalini Tallamraju won in straight sets.
