TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior Luis Kleinschnitz clinched match point for Toledo in its 4-3 win vs. Binghamton on Sunday afternoon in front of a home crowd for the final time this season. The win improved the Rockets to 16-5 overall with an 8-2 Mid-American Conference Record to share the title of Regular Season Co-Champions with Western Michigan (12-9, 8-2 MAC).
The Rockets and Broncos split their head-to-head matches this season. UT lost 4-3 on March 19, but won 6-1 on April 9 to secure the No. 1 seed into the tournament because of point differentials.
Prior to the start of Sunday's match, Al Wermer and his team honored seniors Luka Jankovic, Luis Kleinschnitz, Max Skaer and Krzysztof Wetoszka.
