The Toledo men's basketball team opens its season this week with three games at the Xavier Invitational.
The Rockets will face Bradley on Wednesday, Oakland on Thursday, and host Xavier on Friday. This marks the first season for the tournament, which will feature the four teams at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati.
This is the latest in the year Toledo has opened a season since starting the 1996-97 season Nov. 25 against Old Dominion.
This season’s Rockets were picked to finish sixth in the Mid-American Conference by league coaches. Guard Marreon Jackson was a preseason All-MAC first-team selection after averaging 19.
