As the University of Toledo basketball program returned to the court this week following a two-week shutdown due to coronavirus cases, senior Marreon Jackson said coach Tod Kowalczyk has been preaching a simple message.
“Our coach has been telling us since we've been back that no one is going to feel sorry for us,” he said. “There's 21 days until the season, just making ourselves prepared. Getting everyone back in shape, getting everyone back into the groove of things.”
Toledo is in Day 2 of a four-day phase following those positive tests. Monday, at 25 percent, they were on the court for about 30 minutes.
