HENDERSON, Nev. — The University of Toledo men’s basketball team lost its first game of the season in the wee hours of the morning Wednesday, as the Rockets fell 92-84 to New Mexico in the Ball Dawgs Classic at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev.
Dante Maddox, Jr. (23 points) Ra’Heim Moss (22 points), and Andre Lorentsson (17 points) each had career highs, but Toledo could not outscore the Lobos, who shot 50 percent.
Moss fouled out with six minutes left. Toledo’s last lead came at the eight-minute mark.
