The honors for Toledo men’s basketball continue to pile up.
On Tuesday, Tod Kowalczyk was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 14 coach of the year. He was also named a finalist for the Hugh Durham national mid-major coach of the year award.
Senior point guard Marreon Jackson was named first team All-District 14 and fellow senior Spencer Littleson was named to the second team.
Freshman guard Ryan Rollins is a finalist for the Kyle Macy nationally freshman of the year award.
Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to a 21-8 record and the Mid-American Conference regular-season championship.
