University of Toledo men’s basketball on Tuesday released its 2021-22 nonconference schedule, which includes a trip to East Lansing to compete against Michigan State.
The Rockets are one of eight programs to compete in the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. UT will open the event against University of North Carolina at Charlotte on Nov. 22.
UT’s scheduled matchup against the Spartans, who reached the NCAA tournament last season, is set for Dec. 4. That contest is followed by three non-conference games: Bradley (Dec. 7), Richmond (Dec. 11), and Marshall (Dec. 21).
“Playing Michigan State, Bradley, and Richmond will be an extremely tough week for us," UT men’s basketball coach Tod Kowalczyk said in a press release.
