Mutai, making his season debut, crossed the line at 23:50.0, and was three seconds shy of the top 5. Freshman Joad Martinho and senior Max Matolin made their Rocket debuts. Martinho with a time of 24:40.9 and Matolin at 25:56.7. Junior Sean Smith shaved off a whole minute to hit a new PR time of 25:06.
