ROCHESTER, Mich. — In a game that featured no shortage of offense, the University of Toledo men’s basketball team couldn’t come up with a basket when it needed it most, as the Rockets fell to Oakland in a 98-97 shootout on the road Saturday.

After the Golden Grizzlies took the lead with 15 seconds left in regulation, Toledo had multiple chances at a game-winning basket, but its final chance ended up being blocked as time expired.

Five players on each team finished the game in double-digits in scoring. Leroy Blyden, Jr., led Toledo with 20 points, while Kyler Vanderjagt and Sonny Wilson both scored 16, Sean Craig notched 15, and Jaylan Ouwinga finished with 14.
