Dayton, Ohio - The Toledo softball team (19-23) won a non-conference twinbill against Dayton (21-22) today as the Rockets fought to 7-5 and 9-2 victories over the Flyers in Dayton, Ohio. Numerous milestones and achievements were reached today, including junior Samantha Golden hitting her first collegiate home run in game two. All in all, four Rockets left the park on the day, Toledo never trailed in either competition, and six milestones were reached.
Senior Heather Webb threw her second complete game of the year, finishing game one with eight Ks and just one walk.
