The Rockets are sitting in 12th place following 36 holes at 38-over par 606 (305-301), 31 shots behind defending champion Tennessee (575). The Volunteers hold a four-shot advantage over Notre Dame (579). Auburn (582) and Texas Tech (584) are also within 10 strokes of the lead.
