TOLEDO, Ohio - With fall semester final exams finished, Toledo (6-3) will return its focus to the hardwood on Tuesday, Dec. 18 when it faces red-hot Stony Brook (10-1) in Savage Arena. The contest will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and be streamed on ESPN3.
The Rockets are coming off a tough 72-56 setback against reigning national champion Notre Dame on Dec. 8 before 6,059 fans at home, the third-largest crowd in school history.
UT gave the second-ranked Fighting Irish everything it could handle, as the contest featured four ties and six lead changes.
Senior Mikaela Boyd paced Toledo with 15 points, while senior Kaayla McIntyre and junior Mariella Santucci had 10 each.
