Toledo head coach Jason Candle has filled the Rockets’ defensive line coaching vacancy with a dynamic recruiter and someone with Mid-American Conference ties.
Larry Knight, who spent the previous four seasons at Georgia Tech, will replace Craig Kuligowski. The former All-MAC defensive end at Central Michigan was the defensive line coach and defensive recruiting coordinator for the Yellow Jackets.
During his four seasons at Georgia Tech, Knight helped secure three of the highest-ranked recruiting classes in program history. The Yellow Jackets had their second-ever top-25 class in 2020 and the second-highest percentage of four-star recruits in school history in 2022.
