After taking over the Toledo women's golf program a year and a half ago, head coach Jenny Coluccio was immediately drawn to senior Saranlak Tumfong and her magnetic smile and infectious personality.
Tumfong emerged as a team leader for Coluccio right away and the strides she made in her golf game and her mental approach on the course have been a joy for Coluccio to see.
“From May of last year to September of 2019, that four-month period, it was like a light bulb was turned on,” Coluccio said. “She was able to just go out and play her game without getting in her own way.
