University of Toledo golfer David Amm was anticipating a nice summer in his home country of Zimbabwe, where he could rest and recharge from the grind of his athletic and academic responsibilities at Toledo.
He could visit with family and friends back home, do some fishing, and attempt to qualify for the Zimbabwe team in the World's Amateur Team Championship in Hong Kong.
But the coronavirus derailed those plans.
Amm will not be making it home this summer after attempts to fly home were unsuccessful.
Amm said he had a flight scheduled back to Zimbabwe in March with stops in Washington D.
