The University of Toledo football team on Friday picked up a 2019 commitment from running back Micah Kelly.
Kelly, a 5-foot-10, 190-pounder from Ocean Springs High School in Mississippi, is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports.
“I chose the school that was the right fit for me and had my best interests at heart,” Kelly said in his commitment announcement on Twitter.
Kelly is ranked the 56th running back in the nation by 247Sports and the 28th overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
Toledo is looking to replenish its running back depth after three – Art Thompkins, Nicholas Sims, and Nevone McCrimmon — transferred this offseason.
