Toledo forced to lose nonconference game against Central Connecticut State

Another nonconference game has been scratched from the Toledo football team's 2020 schedule.

The Northeast Conference decided this week to postpone all fall sports, and as a result, Toledo will not host NEC member Central Connecticut State at the Glass Bowl on Sept. 26.

"After speaking with officials from Central Connecticut State, we agreed to work together to try to reschedule the contest in a future season," Toledo athletic director Mike O'Brien said in a prepared statement.

The Rockets also lost a nonleague game at Michigan State when the Big Ten decided to play only conference games this season.
