The University of Toledo football team was thrown a bit of a scheduling curve ball with an off week in the second week of the season. But the coaching staff did everything they could to use the time wisely.
“Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of last week we practiced,” Toledo head coach Jason Candle said. “Thursday and Friday we gave these guys some time off and coaches used that as some time to get on the road and do some recruiting and get out and be at some of the high schools and spend some time in our local area which is really critical to us.
