Toledo football takes home field advantage to historic level in 2025

A lot has changed in Mid-American Conference football in recent years. Divisions came and went, Massachusetts joined for the second time, and league realignment will see Northern Illinois leave.

Throughout the chaos, one thing remains constant — it is hard for opponents to win at the Glass Bowl, and that is no different this season.

The University of Toledo is 4-0 at home, and head coach Jason Candle said he attributes the record breaking performances to comfortability and coming out firing out of the gate.

“It’s good to be in front of your people, it’s got great pageantry here at our stadium,” Candle said.
