The University of Toledo football team has added two assistant coaches.
Kerry Dixon, the former wide receivers coach at Florida, joins the Rockets coaching staff as the running backs coach, taking over For Marquel Blackwell who left for the same position at West Virginia.
Before Florida, Dixon served as a running backs coach at Montana State, Florida Atlantic, and Florida International.
Kevin Beard will serve as director of player personnel and assistant recruiting coordinator for the Rockets.
Beard was the wide receivers coach at Tennessee in 2017. He also has coached at Miami (Fla.), Georgia, and Florida International.
