Youngstown, Ohio— The Toledo baseball team fell to Youngstown State, 5-3, in Youngstown on Wednesday.
The Penguins scored first, taking a 4-0 lead before the Rockets got a run on the scoreboard. UT did score twice in the sixth and once in the ninth, and had the go-ahead run at the plate multiple times in the final inning, but wasn't able to complete the comeback.
Freshman was the lone Rocket with multiple hits, and sophomore and freshman drove in runs for the Midnight Blue and Gold. Senior started the game on the mound, and threw 4.
